Rolling Fork's Lost Cask Foursquare 2006 is a blend of pot and column distilled molasses rums by Foursquare Distillery in Barbados. This 17-year-old-rum was aged in bourbon and Cognac casks, and it is bottled at cask strength of 115.8 proof (57.9% ABV). This 2006 Foursquare distilled rum is a departure in flavor profile from many other aged rum bottlings distilled by Foursquare, with heavy industrial notes, rancio from the Cognac cask aging, and deep caramelized molasses flavors. As one of the more challenging distillation years to find for Foursquare distilled rums, this offering by Rolling Fork will be a truly limited opportunity.
